GCRG Steering Committee Virtual Meeting

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, the GCRG Steering Committee will be meeting virtually online and by telephone until we all get the "all clear" to stop social distancing.

At the March 30, 2020 meeting of Steering Committee we decided to start meeting every 2 weeks on Monday nights starting at 7:00 PM. Unless stated otherwise, these meetings are open to anyone who desires to join the Steering Committee or anyone who doesn't want to make that commitment but wishes to be involved and help support the group.

Semi-Virtual Meeting of the Guilderland Town Board

At this Town Board Meeting there are as of this posting 10 items on the agenda plus the Supervisor's Update. Of importance to the GCRG are the following:

  • Consider scheduling a public hearing for October 6, 2020, at 7:20pm regarding the proposed moratorium regarding programmable digital signs.
  • Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a Payment In-Lieu of Tax Agreement for the Beacon Meadows Intergenerational development on Mercy Care Lane. (POSTPONED)
  • Supervisor's Update:Supervisor's Update 1. Update regarding the Community Choice Aggregation program 2. Retirement of James Cohen, Planning Board member 3. Household Hazardous Waste and Confidential Document Shredding Event September 19th from 8am -- Noon at Highway Garage
